Each mystery has a five-part introduction after which the traditional prayers are prayed. Since the mysteries are a little longer than versions that only announce the name of the mystery, you may choose to only do two or three at a time. But you will know how best to pray with them. We are very excited to have this resource available to pray with at home, work, on retreats, or anywhere you pray. St. Ignatius, pray for us. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for me!

Utilize the spiritual affirmations in this book that are inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola. They are designed to be a tremendous discernment resource for your life. Lifted from St. Ignatius’ Rules for the Discernment of Spirits, learning their wisdom can provide hope and encouragement on your spiritual journey through this life to Christ’s eternal kingdom. You can learn to resist the spiritual assaults and deceptions that move you away from the pathway of light. You can learn to embrace the spiritual graces that move you towards the light.

Gathered in this booklet is a sampling of the simplest but most effective pathways to connect with God in daily life. Most of the sections have been influenced by my retreat work with high school and college students, university faculty, and alumni. The rest of the booklet contains spiritual wisdom and advice that I have found holds universal appeal to all age groups seeking growth in the Christian life. All of it is intended as a means to draw you deeper into God’s love.
