As one-fifth of the iconic Spice Girls and judge on X Factor and America's Got Talent, Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, has been an international star since the age of 19. And yet there are sides of Mel that no one has ever seen, or really known. Brutally Honest is an exposé of the struggles and acute pain that lay behind the glamour and success. With deep personal insight, remarkable frankness and Melanie’s trademark Yorkshire humour, this audiobook removes the mask of fame and reveals the mother, wife and daughter behind the Spice Girl everyone thinks they know.

Based on the Speech Plasma Method, this volume is designed for students who can speak English at elementary level but lack fluency, which makes them feel confused and frustrated. The book is aimed at the development of the learner's fluency in speech through fluency practice drills. The drills are similar to physical exercises that can be practiced regularly, repeated over and over again, concentrating either on their intensity and force or on rapidness and speed.

From an early age, Melanie M Johnson recognized she was different. She understood life for her would not be the same as others, however she had no idea what this difference would entail. Facing trauma after trauma, she found herself alone, surrounded by those she thought would love and protect her. But no one could protect her from the things she had to endure. Facing reality brought her to her breaking point, where she thought it would be better to not even exist.

Things are never as they seem. People tend to judge us according to how “they” think we should be. We can become resentful of them because we do not align with their opinions of us. Who is wrong? Whom does society tend to believe? Who are “they” to be able to identify what we should be? Should their judgment of us change how we view ourselves? It did for me. Be ready to make this real, raw, revealing journey through the life of a former pastor’s wife who was searching for peace. Womanly Wisdom is a narrative of the struggles I faced as a woman “known” by society, trying to fit everyone’s mold.
