Six phenomenally sophisticated Noël Coward comedies: Fallen Angels, Hay Fever, Private Lives, Design for Living, Blithe Spirit, Present Laughter.

Starring James Marsters, this classic comedy of manners from 1773 is still widely performed and studied. Love, lies, and dysfunctional families. Sound like your last family gathering? Try this one on for laughs. Two randy young gents, Charles and George, set out to woo the alluring and upper-crust Kate and Constance. But inexperienced Charles is shy and clumsy around upper-class ladies, so it’s the barmaid who catches his eye. But is she really who she seems?

A galaxy of friends, lovers, relatives and theatre acolytes sparkles around stage star Garry Essendine like bubbles in fine champagne. While Garry struggles to plan his upcoming trip to Africa, his elegant London flat is invaded by a love-struck ingenue, an adulterous producer, and a married seductress - not to mention Garry's estranged wife, Liz, and the memorable Roland Maule, an aspiring playwright who is quite, quite mad.

The earl of Huntingdon sighed quietly as he watched his teenage son, Robert, emerge out of the woods surrounding Huntingdon castle.... That particular spot was special; that had been where his wife, Mathilda, had taken her son for long forest walks, where she’d told him stories, where they’d played games. But when Robert was eight years old, the games had ended, and there were no more stories. But as each day thereon passed, the earl realised why his offspring behaved in the way he did. After all, Robert of Huntingdon was Mathilda’s son. He was her legacy.

A new threat arrives on these shores at The Sheriff of Nottingham's behest, in an effort to rid him of his greatest enemy once and for all.
