Come learn from Sister Alma how to keep your faith intact when you are thrown way out of your comfort zones. With the advent and progression of COVID-19, many of us felt like the bottom of our world was falling out and nothing made sense anymore, from toilet paper shortages to hundreds of thousands of deaths and the way we, as a world, dealt with all of it. Lift Up Your Voice reminds us that we are in the spotlight as Christians and that we train by example as well as well as with words. Remember that our voice needs to be heard, and understood, by the next generation.

The cup of author Alma L. Carr-Jones runs over with the need to tell her story about God’s loving kindness, justice, and righteousness! Inside, you’ll discover Sister Alma’s inspirational pieces, written with her delightful and warm voice that makes you feel like she’s your new best friend. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll sigh, and you’ll pray as her stories envelop you, while entertaining, inspiring, and motivating you every step of the way.

We all need a pick-me-up in these trying times. Motivational and inspirational author and speaker Sister Alma has penned a book of poems, and devotionals, to meet that need. Her words, stories, and poems will soothe all that is chaotic in your world, and will help renew the joy that has been buried deep within. Sister Alma’s voice will encourage you, inspire you, and soothe you. Her prayer for you is this: “May your soul be blessed, your spirit renewed, and your joy heightened, as you partake of this offering, given to you, for the glory of God."

So what is life after Salvation like? I find a good church to attend, I join the choir and the softball team, go on a mission trip, and put money in the offering? Not exactly! Life after Salvation should be a life based on a close, personal friendship with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus described life after Salvation as being comparable to a building project. A lot of thought, ideas, dreams, planning, focus, interests, and blood, sweat, and tears go into a building project! So, let’s get started and break ground; our foundation is waiting!

If God still heals, then how does a person receive healing? Can anyone be healed? God is not only able to heal, he is willing to heal! And there is nothing more gracious and merciful than experiencing the Lord’s divine healing of sickness and diseases! This study is a chronicle of the lessons in my own personal pursuit of healing, which started with, “If God still heals, then why am I still sick?”, and finishes with a complete, supernatural, amazing miracle! Come and learn of the promises of God and the works of Jesus that make healing still available to us today!
