When Clara’s phone rings, it is only a brief call. A father who is worried. A daughter who cannot be reached. A conversation that should mean nothing – and yet shifts everything. Clara stays after a loss that is not her own. Not because she is asked to. But because an opening appears. In a stranger’s apartment, in a daily life thrown off balance, she begins to take a place that is not empty – but missing.
