Self-as-context is one of the most important of the six core processes of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), yet it is also one of the least understood. Many therapists struggle to fully implement it in their practice—perhaps due to a lack of concrete techniques for real world application—or they may become stuck when facing roadblocks in-session. So how can you gain a deeper understanding of self-as-context as a behavior and learn practical interventions for empowering clients with this essential capacity?

In the words of MC Grindah himself: “As literally everyone knows already, the world’s biggest pirate radio station, Kurupt FM, has shut down. A nation was thrown in to mourning as MC Grindah quit the music game and blessed a mic for the last time. But there’s just one problem. The fans have been going absolutely mental. So now, rising from the ashes, the legendary Kurupt FM crew are BACK (in association with Chabuddy G Enterprises). But this time, they’re a podcast.”

Self-described ‘legends’ of Brentford’s UK Garage pirate radio scene – MC Grindah, DJ Beats, DJ Steves, and their manager Chabuddy G – gather round the mic in Steve’s nan’s flat to discuss more of what they think about some of the world’s most important subjects. This time it’s Crime, Business, Books, Parenting, Celebrities and Health.

The Kurupt FM crew are back. Due to (they claim) overwhelming demand from the fans, pirate radio veterans MC Grindah, DJ Steves, DJ Beats, and their manager, Chabuddy G, return to provide vital insight on six burning issues: Nature, Politics, TV & Film, The Future, History, and Travel. Prepare to come away, if not better informed, certainly with a better understanding of what a garage MC reckons about some stuff.

Please note: this podcast contains strong language (and dangerously high level lyrical content).

Steve Beat’s baseball hero falls into a tragic slump right when they need him in the middle of a pennant race, and Steve Beat tells a tale of suspense during his visit to the local laundromat.

In the bumping city of New York, Steve Beat finds himself in an absolutely splendid situation where he is surrounded by some of the greatest ball players to walk the Earth and meets a living legend of the game, the victor of the notorious "joust".
