I was born to a married couple who were high school sweethearts who were madly in love with each other. Mom was very disappointed in the fact that she did not have a son. She blamed my Dad - her husband - for not giving her a son. Even though I was not what she wanted God still kept me through it all. He has kept me and made sure that I had the strength to go through all God had in store for me. When people think of their personal strength, the first thing they think of is weakness. They think they can’t do whatever the activity is.
