Wynik dla "bolt" w kategorii Świat

In Nuts and Bolts, award-winning engineer and broadcaster Roma Agrawal deconstructs our most complex feats of engineering into seven fundamental inventions: the nail, spring, wheel, lens, magnet, string and pump. Each of these objects is itself a wonder of design, the result of many iterations and refinements. Together, they have enabled humanity to see the invisible, build the spectacular, communicate across vast distances, and even escape our planet.

My name is Roy, but lately I have been going by the name Bolt. You see, recently I was struck by lightning while visiting a plasma energy facility. I was looking into a glass container full of plasma-induced energy to be used for future power sources. As I looked into the vat, lightning struck me and sent me crashing into the container. Bolt after bolt of lightning, drawn by the plasma, kept hitting me until all the plasma had been absorbed into my body.

The Nuts & Bolts podcast will consist of previous honorees of the Vulcans Community Awards providing a then and now reflection from when they were presented the award to present day. We look forward to this podcast providing great insight on all things Vulcan, it’s work throughout the community and the opportunities award winners have gained since receiving the award.
