  • My 3 Favorite Arguments for the Existence of God
    23 Sep 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this first episode of a three-part series, Winston walks through his three favorite arguments for the existence of God: the contingency argument, the Kalam cosmological argument, and the fine-tuning argument.

Rather than starting with Christianity specifically, this episode takes a step back and asks a more fundamental question: Is there something beyond the material universe? Winston explains why he thinks the existence of contingent things points to a necessary reality, why the beginning of the universe points to a cause beyond the universe, and why the precise conditions necessary for life raise questions about design.

These arguments don't by themselves prove Christianity or Catholicism, but they provide a philosophical foundation for believing that reality extends beyond the material world. In the next two episodes, Winston will build on these arguments and explore where the evidence leads from there.

  • What Does Jesus Say About His Church?
    16 Sep 2026

What did Jesus intend His Church to look like? In this episode, we examine the only two times Jesus explicitly mentions the Church in the Gospels, both found in Matthew 16 and Matthew 18. From these passages, we explore what Jesus tells us about the Church’s leadership, authority, visible membership, discipline, and ability to teach and resolve disputes. We also look at Jesus’ promise that the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church and what that means for the Church throughout history. Finally, we ask an important question: if Jesus founded a Church, where is that Church today?

  • The one Catholic doctrine that Protestants should care about most
    15 Apr 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

This episode explores what may be the most important Catholic doctrine for Protestants to seriously consider: the Eucharist. While Catholics and Protestants share core Christian beliefs about God, Jesus, and salvation, this is a uniquely Catholic claim with extremely high stakes on both sides. If the Eucharist truly is the body and blood of Jesus Christ, as the Catholic Church teaches, then it represents the most intimate way to encounter Him and something every Christian should seek. But if it is not true, then it raises serious concerns about worshiping what would be, in that case, only bread and wine. This episode lays out the logic, the historical weight behind the belief, and why this is not a doctrine that can be ignored, but one that deserves real attention and urgency.
