Why has Absolute Batman become one of the biggest success stories in modern comics?
Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta radically reinvented Bruce Wayne: no billionaire fortune, no Wayne Manor, a completely different relationship with Gotham, and a Batman who looks and feels unlike the version readers have known for decades.
And yet, nearly two years into its run, Absolute Batman is still sitting at the top of comic-book sales charts.
