Welcome back to another episode of the Bump N Run Podcast! This week’s show breaks down a wild Week 5 across the NFL, starting with major headlines including Marvin Harrison Jr. being traded to the Texans, the passing of Hall of Famer Mike Ditka, and Drake Greenlaw’s one-game suspension after an ejection in Seattle.

The Week 5 recap covers the Buccaneers earning their first win of the season behind a dominant rushing attack against the Cowboys, the Eagles suffering a brutal last-second loss to the Jaguars in London, and the Patriots exploding offensively in a 45-17 win over the Raiders behind a massive five-touchdown performance from Drake Maye. The crew also dives into the 49ers’ thrilling win over the Seahawks, the Packers dismantling the Bears, the Texans smothering the Titans, the Steelers’ big day from Jaylen Warren, the Giants and Commanders ending in a messy overtime tie, and the Ravens surviving the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.

In the game ball segment, standout performances go to Drake Maye after his MVP-caliber day, Jahmyr Gibbs for another electric showing and historic touchdown mark, and Mike Evans for his big day in the 49ers’ win including an instant-classic trash-talk moment.

The picks standings are tighter than ever after Week 5, with the leaderboard separated by only three games. The episode then turns toward Week 6 with picks and previews for a loaded slate, including Seahawks vs. Broncos on Thursday Night Football, Panthers vs. Eagles, Cowboys vs. Packers on Sunday Night Football, Texans vs. Jaguars in London and Commanders vs. 49ers on Monday Night Football.

The show wraps with lock, upset, and fade of the week, including a Monday night lock on San Francisco, a GIants upset over the Saints, and a passionate fade of Stephen A. Smith following controversial comments about Lane Johnson and mental health. Finally, the episode closes with “Don’t Be Surprised If” predictions, including another potential Patriots offensive explosion and a possible Eagles bounce-back performance.
