• Breaking Diet Culture

    Diet culture doesn’t always show up as a “diet.” Sometimes it sounds like “I can’t have that,” “I’ll start Monday,” or “I ruined it so I might as well keep going.” We get real about how those scripts kept us stuck for decades, and what finally helped us build healthy habits we can actually live with after losing over 100 pounds each.

    We walk through the difference between dramatic resets and sustainable weight loss: smaller portions, meal prep that makes eating easier, and the kind of flexibility that keeps you consistent even when sleep is bad or plans change. We also talk honestly about tools like bariatric surgery and GLP-1 medications (including Zepbound) and why they’re helpful for some people, but never a substitute for mindset, nutrition basics, and routines that support long-term weight maintenance.

    Then we zoom out to the bigger stuff: the restriction binge cycle, the pressure of the scale, and why health is more than a number. We share how we think about non-scale victories like energy, strength, blood work, and how your clothes fit, plus how we try to raise kids with food awareness instead of food shame.     Our one main takeaway for everyone... It is ok if you didn't hit all (or any lol) of your goals. Don't be so hard on yourself!

    It's now time to start thinking about 2026 and what you want to get out of it. You get to write the story, so make it a good one!

  • Episode 66: People Pleasing & The Holidays

    The holiday season is upon us! This can bring a lot of anxiety for some... Honestly, for most. Now is the time to start navigating how to handle some of the tough situations.

    Most people in the weight loss community are people pleasers by nature. It's what we've always done. But it doesn't typically serve us. The healthiest thing you can do for yourself this holiday season is remove yourself from the role of people pleaser!

    It is ok to take a pass on Aunt Suzie's world famous pie (unless it's incredible and you REALLY want it!). It's ok to NOT give in to buying the most expensive gifts. It's ok to decline an invite to a gathering that doesn't align with your goals. Bottom line... it's ok to do what serves YOU!

    The first thing you can do to set yourself up for success over the holidays is to set boundaries early on and actually stick to them.

  • Episode 65: 2025 Retreat Wrap Up

    Our 2025 Retreat has come to an end, and our cups are so full! There is something to be said for a weekend of shared sisterhood. Meeting internet strangers on Thursday and heading home Sunday afternoon with 5 new friends and accountability partners. We are truly humbled and blessed!

    Thank you to the women that made the journey and trusted in us to deliver an informative and fun filled weekend. We are so grateful for you! We are looking forward to the next one. We have an idea in mind and can't wait to share it with you!

We had a great conversation with Noelle Dawson about her incredible story of losinga significant amount of weight naturally, only to gain it all back and then ultimately decide to go forward with weight loss surgery.

    We talked about everything from our struggles with losing weight, to GLP-1 meds, skin removal surgery and everything in between.   • Episode 63: 2025 6 Month Goal Checkin

    Can you believe that we are already more than halfway through the year??!

    We have both been super busy lately... but not too busy to sit down and review where we are with the goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the year.

    We discovered that not all goals are going to be met this year, and that is ok! What is important is that we are still striving for them. It's ok to pivot, or drop a goal that no longer serves you. A LOT can happen in 365 days, and what is most important is that we are striving to be a better version of ourselves EVERY DAY.

    So if you need to pivot, go for it! No goals set? you still have time before the year is up. Always better late than never. Don't wait for Mondy, next month or even next year. Start now!
