In this week's episode, I sat down with Jess Wrightson to speak about Embodiment & living an Embodied Life. Jess is the founder of Surskin and Henosis & Co, who I consider a true matriarch in the wellness world. If you've ever felt stuck despite doing all the mindset work, find yourself living entirely in your head, or sense there's a deeper level of connection missing from your life, this conversation will shift something for you.

Jess has been making an impact with her work for over 20 years through her unique approach to healing that goes beyond traditional beauty treatments into the realm of true embodiment and energetic healing. We discuss the gap between intellectual awareness and body wisdom, why so many of us feel more disconnected than ever despite having access to endless resources, and practical ways to reconnect with the felt sense of who we are.

In this conversation, we explore:

• What embodiment is
• The disconnect a lot of us are feeling
• Practical ways to reconnect with your body, from breathwork that you can do in two minutes to somatic movement that doesn't require any training or certification.
• How practices like touch, movement, and sound can help us process and release what we've been carrying.

Whether you're intellectually aware of your patterns but still stuck in the same cycles, craving a deeper connection to your intuition and body wisdom, or looking for practical tools to move beyond mental understanding into real embodied transformation, this episode offers a pathway back to yourself that doesn't require expensive certifications or complex practices.

This conversation was so expansive that I've broken it into two parts. This episode focuses on embodiment as individuals, and part two explores how to bring this embodied approach into your business and work.
