At the same time, it's a reminder to all of us that life is a continuous journey, and until our last breath there is still much to achieve and learn.     Paul essentially says: don’t give up! Continue to live as you know you should, God is the only one you need to please. He also says: don’t expect false teachers and evil people to reform and change on their own. Left alone, they will go from bad to worse. If you have the opportunity, correct them, give them the opportunity to come back to faith in Christ.     2 Timothy 2:2 tells us: Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others”. This is what Paul told TImothy, but it’s for any leader. Just imagine, if the church were to consistently follow this advice from 2 Timothy 2:2, it would expand geometrically as every well taught believer would teach others and commission them, in turn, to teach still others.
