Many people want to achieve more in life and make the most of their potential. Yet while some actively pursue personal growth, many others never take the time to discover their strengths or develop their talents.

The challenge is not a lack of talent. Rather, it is our difficulty in recognizing, developing, and fully utilizing the potential that already exists within us.

In this episode, I explore the topic of human potential and personal development. What does it really mean to unlock your potential? Why do some people seem to grow continuously while others remain stuck? And what practical steps can we take to become a little better, stronger, and more fulfilled than we are today?

  • #42 Discovering the True Essence of Leadership: Understanding the Inner Self, Resolving Contradictions, and Making the Good Visible. A Conversation with Anschi Sailer of White Company
    Jun 23 2026

I have had the pleasure of working closely with Anschi Sailer for nearly 15 years. Throughout that time, she has made extensive use of profilingvalues and has also integrated it into her latest project, which addresses a challenge that is becoming increasingly relevant in today’s working world.

Her focus is on leaders who experience burnout, struggle with depression, or have lost their sense of purpose and meaning. In many cases, the roots of these challenges can be traced back to a lack of guidance and support from the very beginning of their leadership journey. Even today, it is still common for people to be promoted into leadership positions only to find themselves increasingly isolated and left to navigate the challenges on their own.

To address this issue, Anschi has developed a dedicated year-long program designed to support leaders in reconnecting with themselves, discovering their inner strengths, and developing a healthier and more sustainable approach to leadership. Elements of this program are also shared through a series of concise podcast episodes, which naturally became part of our conversation.

We also explore Anschi’s professional roots in sales and discuss the essential lessons that can be learned from this field—not only for business success but for life in general. Along the way, our discussion touches on philosophical questions about meaning, personal growth, self-awareness, and the importance of recognizing the good within ourselves and others.

An inspiring conversation about leadership, purpose, resilience, and the lifelong journey of becoming more fully human.

Rating: Thought-provoking, inspiring, and deeply human.

  • #41 Values on the Rise: 15 Years of profilingvalues – A Journey, a Reflection, and a Vision for the Future
    Jun 23 2026

In 2008, I was first introduced to the Hartman Value Profile (HVP), although at the time I had no real understanding of what the assessment actually was. Unfortunately, I had fallen victim to a fraudster who presented Robert S. Hartman’s brilliant mathematical theory of values as his own creation.

After a few months, I recognized the deception and decided to develop my own application of the HVP through profilingvalues. At the same time, I established contact with the Robert S. Hartman Institute (RSHI). In 2009, I founded profilingvalues, and I can honestly say that I found my true calling.

Since then, we have certified more than 1,000 professionals in the use of the methodology, and its applications have expanded into a wide range of fields: recruitment and talent selection, personnel development, team building, leadership development, foster family assessment, and even couples and family therapy.

Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of meeting and collaborating with many remarkable people. It has been deeply rewarding to help bring Hartman’s values-based thinking and decision-making approach into the world, with the goal of making it a better place.

In this episode of the Value Impulses podcast, I reflect on this journey, take stock of what has been achieved, and share my thoughts on the future of values-based assessment and development.

    Jun 23 2026

Max Keppler is still in his twenties and has already established himself as a highly successful executive search consultant within his family’s business. What impressed me most was Max’s deep understanding of the profession and the inspiring way he communicates its value and purpose.
