Welcome back, Radical Ones!

Our Star Wars Summer takes one last trip to the forest moon of Endor as we tackle BOTH live-action Ewok movies: “Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure” (1984) and “Ewoks: The Battle for Endor” (1985)!

And who better to join us than the return of our friend and Ewok fan our Lovely Leah!

First, Caravan of Courage introduces us to young siblings Cindel and Mace Towani, who find themselves stranded on Endor after their family’s starcruiser crashes. With their parents missing, the children team up with Wicket and a brave caravan of Ewoks on a fantasy-filled quest through the forests of Endor.

Then things get MUCH darker in The Battle for Endor, as Cindel and Wicket face the invading Sanyassan Marauders, led by the villainous Terak and aided by the witch Charal. Along the way, they meet the wonderfully grumpy hermit Noa Briqualon and his speedy little companion Teek.

These movies may be strange, cheesy, surprisingly dark and unlike almost anything else in the Star Wars universe… but for Ewok fans, they’re also a wonderfully weird piece of 1980s Star Wars history.

“Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and The Battle for Endor expand the world of Endor beyond Return of the Jedi, blending Star Wars with classic fantasy, family adventure, monsters, magic and plenty of Ewoks. Originally released as television films in 1984 and 1985, the two adventures follow Wicket and young Cindel Towani through two very different journeys across the forest moon."

Our Star Wars Summer reaches the end of the Skywalker Saga this week as we jump into "Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker" from 2019!

The dead speak! Somehow, Emperor Palpatine has returned, and Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, C-3PO and BB-8 are finally off on a galaxy spanning adventure together! Rey continues her Jedi training under Leia, Kylo Ren discovers some shocking truths on the mysterious world of Exegol, and C-3PO takes one last look at his friends...well, at least until R2 remembers to hit the backup button.

Meanwhile, after spending an entire summer experiencing the Skywalker Saga for the first time, David has finally reached the end! Will Palpatine's return, Rey's true identity, a redeemed Ben Solo, and approximately nine billion Star Destroyers win him over... or will the final chapter awaken the Dark Side in him?

It's time...grab a Sith Wayfinder, avoid desert quicksand, and join us as we bring our journey through all nine episodes of the Skywalker Saga to a close! (Ewoks to come!)

Our Star Wars Summer continues this week as we jump into "Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi" from 2017!

Luke Skywalker has finally been found... but let's just say he's not exactly thrilled to have company. Rey begins her Jedi training, the Resistance is hanging on by a thread, Leia takes an unexpected trip through space that had audiences yelling what in the "Mary Poppins?!", oh and Kylo Ren decides it's time to shake up the galaxy.

Meanwhile, David is happy to report that he STILL hates Snoke, and somehow the giant hologram manages to become even more ridiculous. Will The Last Jedi win David over... or just add even more fuel to his rant?

Its time...steer clear of Canto Bight and join us as we tackle one of the most talked-about (and divisive!) films in the entire Star Wars saga. May the Force be with you... because David's opinions certainly will!
