We’re still waiting to hear something -- anything -- from Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski about the future of the franchise, including the fate of interim manager Don Mattingly. Dombrowski hasn’t spoken since the Phillies got bounced in Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series on Oct. 1.

In the meantime, Ruben, Jim and Todd ranked 24 Phillies from least likely to return in 2027 to most likely to return. We added up their individual rankings to come up with our five Phillies LEAST likely to be back next year. It’s a list that includes José Alvarado, Alec Bohm and Orion Kerkering.

But who else is on it?

Alex Cora isn’t interested in managing anybody next year, including the Phillies.

So, now that Dave Dombrowski’s No. 1 choice isn’t available, will the Phils finally remove the interim tag from Don Mattingly’s title? Signs point to the Phillies naming Mattingly their manager, but there’s still a chance Dombrowski begins a managerial search.

We discuss Cora, Mattingly, Dombrowski’s standing with the Phillies and more.

It’s been four days since the Phillies lost Game 3 of the NL Wild Card Series to the Atlanta Braves? Do you feel any differently about the future of the franchise?

We discuss the tall task facing Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski this offseason. Does he trade Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber or Trea Turner to shake up the offense? Does he deal closer Jhoan Duran, who will be a free agent following the 2027 season? What about dealing from their strength -- the starting rotation?

Would you deal Zack Wheeler, Cristopher Sánchez or Jesús Luzardo?

Don Mattingly’s future remains a topic of conversation until Dombrowski talks about it, too.
