• An end of an era, but the beginning of...
    Jan 21 2026

In this week’s episode, I’m taking a quiet moment to reflect on nearly two years of the People Pleaser Podcast. What began as a solo passion project has become something far more meaningful, and I feel genuinely grateful for everyone who has listened, shared, and supported along the way — whether you’ve been here from the very beginning or found your way here more recently.

And then… I get to share some news I’ve been holding close for a while. This episode includes the first piece of a much bigger announcement about what’s next for the podcast — a direction I’m incredibly excited about and deeply aligned with. It feels like the beginning of a new chapter, and I can’t wait to bring you along for what’s coming.

  • Addressing Rigidity
    Dec 1 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

This week, I’m unpacking some realizations about my own rigidity—especially around routines, self-care, and the belief that structure is the only thing keeping me afloat. For so long I’ve associated strict habits with success, but lately I’ve noticed a fear underneath it all… a fear that if I’m not constantly preparing for the future, I won’t be able to handle what’s ahead. In this episode, I share how some of my “healthy” routines have slowly turned into pressure and self-punishment, and what it feels like to loosen that grip.

I’m also sharing some exciting personal updates: my brand-new job and a big milestone for Brian, River and I, as we move toward home ownership.

And finally—a little sneak peek into what’s coming in 2026 👀

It’s a reflective, honest, forward-looking episode, and I’m so glad you’re here for it.

  • Living in Contradictions: Finding Safety in Life’s Ebbs and Flows
    Sep 23 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

In this episode, I open up about my struggle with self-judgment, perfectionism, and the discomfort of living with contradictions. How do we honor both joy and hardship at the same time? How do we find safety when life is always shifting and unpredictable? I share personal reflections on anxiety, attachment, and the deep human longing for consistency — and why learning to embrace change (even in small ways) can expand our capacity for growth and connection.

  • An offering: Metta Meditation
    Aug 27 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

In this episode, I’m offering a simple metta (loving-kindness) meditation—one that I’ve been practicing consistently and have found to be a grounding resource in my own life. While this practice is especially meaningful for people pleasers, it’s also just a beautiful reminder for anyone who wants to pause, breathe, and send a little compassion inward.

Metta begins with ourselves: learning to wish for our own safety, happiness, health, and ease. From there, we can extend that same kindness outward, with more balance and authenticity.

If you’d like to explore more meditations, I highly recommend Aditi Shah’s guided metta practices on the Peloton app. You can try them (and all the classes) free for 60 days with my link:

  • Emotions as Strength: My Tears Don’t Mean I’m Falling Apart
    Aug 11 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

In this episode, I’m sharing how I’ve learned to see my emotions — yes, even tears — as one of my greatest strengths. From crying in the middle of a meeting to navigating how my feelings show up in my marriage, I’m unpacking why emotions aren’t a sign of weakness, but powerful signals worth paying attention to.

We’ll talk about the many shades of tears (not just sadness), what’s actually happening in our bodies when we feel deeply, and how to use emotions as insight instead of something to hide.

  • Wholeness Over Separation: Moving Toward My One True Self
    Aug 4 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

This week, I'm basking in the afterglow of a full, rich week of IRL connection and community. My cup is brimming, and it’s reminded me how essential it is to be seen—not just in parts, but in whole.

In this episode, I share a personal update: I'm stepping away from the @peoplepleaser.pod Instagram and moving toward a more integrated identity as @coriesenia. I unpack why I once felt the need to separate my passions, hobbies, and projects from my “real” self—and why I no longer want to keep those parts of me optional or compartmentalized.

This is about choosing wholeness, complexity, and honesty. About showing up fully—as one self, not many.

  • Standing in My Worth & Working Smarter
    Jul 15 2025

Hey it's Corie! You can now send me a text! With a comment or question that I can address on the next episode xox

In this episode, I reflect on what it means to work smarter, not harder—especially as someone who’s long believed that grinding was the only way to reach my goals. I share a personal update about the unexpected opportunity my husband and I have to purchase our first home, a milestone that’s stirring up big questions around worthiness, abundance, and the stories we carry about what’s possible.

I open up about shifting from scarcity to abundance thinking—while holding space for the privilege that comes with this moment—and how this shift is changing the way I view my time, energy, and creative work. For the first time, I’m starting to see my podcast not just as a passion project, but as my most valuable offering. I’m leaning into the idea of expansion, sustainability, and standing confidently in what I bring to the table.

If you’ve ever struggled with feeling like you have to prove your worth through overwork, or you’re navigating your own season of growth and change, this one’s for you.

Thanks for listening and I will catch you on the next episode!
