Faith. Scripture. Real Life.

The Narrow Path is a Christian podcast dedicated to exploring what it truly means to follow Jesus in a world that often pulls us in the opposite direction. Through honest conversations, biblical teaching, apologetics, and real-life discussions, we seek to connect Scripture to the challenges, questions, and experiences we face every day.

This podcast is for believers who want to grow deeper in their faith, skeptics who have honest questions, and anyone searching for truth in a world full of noise and confusion.

We’re not here to simply talk about Christianity—we’re here to walk the narrow path.

New episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

A respected Bible teacher shows up after dark, and Jesus skips the small talk. Nicodemus brings credentials, Scripture knowledge, and careful curiosity but Jesus brings a diagnosis: no one sees the kingdom of God without being born again. We unpack what that phrase actually means in John 3, why it is not religious self-improvement, and how the Holy Spirit creates real spiritual transformation that shows up over time in our desires, our honesty, and our relationship with sin.

We also follow the thread Jesus pulls from the Old Testament into the heart of the gospel. The promises of renewal and a new heart are not abstract ideas, and the story of Moses lifting up the bronze serpent becomes a clear picture of our need and God’s provision. Jesus identifies Himself as the Son of Man who came from heaven and will be lifted up so that whoever believes can have eternal life.

Then we slow down John 3:16–21 without treating it like a slogan. God’s love moves first, Jesus comes to save rather than condemn, and our response matters because light exposes what darkness hides. We get practical about why we resist the light, how sin can trap us slowly, and the three questions worth sitting with: do I know Jesus or only know about Him, what am I keeping hidden, and will I trust Him with what I cannot fix. If this helped you, follow the show, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find it.

A lot of us are comfortable with a version of faith that looks solid as long as God keeps producing the results we want. Then a door stays shut, a prayer feels unanswered, or life falls apart and we find out what our belief was really built on. John 2:23-25 puts that tension in plain sight: many people believe when they see Jesus’ signs, but Jesus does not entrust Himself to them because He knows what is in the human heart.

We walk through this passage slowly and ask the question it forces every Christian to face: do I believe in Jesus because I truly know Him, or am I mainly interested in what He can do for me? I talk about the difference between being amazed by God’s power and submitting to God’s authority, why “looking spiritual” can hide a resistant heart, and how Jesus sees past our religious habits into our motives, fears, and private choices. We also explore why that reality is not meant to make us panic, but to invite honesty, repentance, and deeper trust.

Along the way, we connect the warning to real life: trusting God when outcomes disappoint us, refusing to settle for mere familiarity with church culture, and letting genuine faith reshape daily obedience. We end with a practical challenge drawn from Psalm 139:23-24, a prayer that asks God to search us and lead us, not just fix our circumstances.

If you want stronger Christian discipleship, deeper Bible study in the Gospel of John, and a faith that holds steady without constant “signs,” listen and share this with someone who needs it. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell me, where is Jesus calling you to surrender control today?

Tables flipping in the temple isn’t a side note in John’s Gospel, it’s a spotlight on what happens when worship gets crowded out by convenience, profit, and routine. We’re staying in John 2, but the scene shifts fast from a wedding celebration to Jerusalem at Passover, where the temple should be marked by prayer, sacrifice, and reverence. Instead, Jesus walks into a marketplace, and His response is forceful, intentional, and deeply revealing about God’s holiness.

We break down what’s actually happening in the temple courts, why the presence of animals and money changers isn’t automatically the point, and what Jesus is confronting when He says, “Do not make my Father’s house into a house of trade.” From there, we bring it closer to home: how easy it is for church to become a performance we attend, a social habit we maintain, or a routine that never reaches the heart. We ask the uncomfortable but necessary questions about Christian worship, hypocrisy, and the difference between knowing about Jesus and truly following Him with obedience and repentance.

Then we get to the moment that changes everything. When the authorities demand a sign for His actions, Jesus points forward to the ultimate sign: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” John makes it clear He’s talking about His body and the resurrection, reminding us that our faith isn’t built on a building, a style, or a tradition, but on Jesus Christ crucified and risen.
