  • Dr. Victoria Unt Part 1
    19 Sep 2026

Dr. Victoria Unt was raised in southern England. She wanted to be a Veterinarian from an early age. This idea was confirmed at age 12 when her horse required arthroscopic surgery for a lameness issue.

She earned her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 and went into practice for a year before returning to RVC to complete an Equine Internship. After the Internship, she spent three years at RVC researching equine biomechanics before moving to Switzerland to work on drug testing for the FEI.

During her time with the FEI, she observed performance horses benefitting from acupuncture, sparking an interest in holistic medicine. She finished her Chi University Acupuncture training in 2014.

She learned French in 2014 as well, staying to practice in Switzerland. She opened her own integrative practice in 2017, and this practice is currently in operation.

Please enjoy this conversation with Dr Victoria Unt as we discuss her education, work experience, and her solo doctor integrative practice in Switzerland.

  • Dr. Tifani Torres
    5 Sep 2026

Dr. Tifani Torres was raised in South Texas. She can't remember a time when she didn't want to be a Veterinarian.

She earned her BS in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2008, her DVM from Ross University in 2012. After graduation, she went into equine practice in Ocala, Florida and then into small animal practice in South Florida before returning to Texas to work first on a White Tailed Deer Ranch and then in small animal general and emergency practice before founding her own practice, Back in Motion Veterinary Services, in 2017.

She was certified in Acupuncture by Chi University soon after her first equine position, but it wasn't until returning to Texas that she attended the Animal Chiropractic Education Source and was certified in Animal Chiropractic by the AVCA. In addition to acupuncture and chiropractic, she is also certified in Companion Animal Rehabilitation.

Back in Motion began as a mobile practice, but has since evolved to a brick and mortar for small animals while continuing to offer mobile equine mobility services. Services include lameness exams and gait analysis, joint injections and orthopedic radiographs as well as shockwave therapy, laser therapy, and small animal hydrotherapy.

Please enjoy this conversation with Dr. Tifani Torres as we discuss her education, work history, and expansion into a larger practice space to include haul in facilities for equine work.
