Have you ever carried a dream so deeply in your heart that you wondered if God had forgotten about it? Have you prayed the same prayer for years? Have you hoped, surrendered, picked your hope back up, surrendered again—and wondered, “Lord, how long?” Maybe you're waiting for a child. Maybe you're waiting for healing. Maybe you're waiting for restoration. Maybe you're waiting for a relationship, a promise, a breakthrough, or a dream you have carried quietly for years. And sometimes the hardest part of waiting isn't the waiting itself. It's not knowing when. For years, I've carried a heart desire before the Lord. I've prayed. I've hoped. I've trusted. I've cried. I've surrendered the timeline more times than I can count. And I'm learning something in this waiting season: God has never asked me to know the timeline. He has asked me to trust the Author. I don't know what the next page holds. But I know Who holds the pen. And perhaps that is where surrender becomes real—not when we stop desiring the thing we've prayed for, but when we can honestly say, “Lord, I still desire it. I still hope. But I trust You more than I trust my timeline.” This episode is for the woman who is waiting. The woman who is wondering if her prayer has been heard. The woman who is watching other people's stories unfold while hers seems to be standing still. The woman who is trying to hold onto hope without allowing hope to become an idol. And the woman learning that surrender doesn't necessarily mean giving up the dream.
