This time, the stories aren’t coming from old case files, newspaper clippings, or local legends. They happened to us.

In this deeply personal episode of The Black Lantern Files, Patrick and Larry share their own encounters with the unexplained—strange experiences, terrifying moments, and things they witnessed that they still can’t fully explain.

Were they ghosts? Something darker? Or could there be another explanation entirely?

These are the stories that stayed with us long after the lights came back on.

Turn down the lights, grab a lantern, and join us as we open a file we’ve never opened before… our own.

There are places that keep their secrets long after the people who created them are gone.

Hidden behind the gates of an sprawling Indiana estate, Fox Hollow Farm appeared quiet and ordinary. But beyond the house, deep among the trees, something was waiting to be discovered.

Missing men. Shattered human remains. A suspected serial killer named Herb Baumeister. And two names—Mark Goodyear and Thomas Ackerman—that lead us even deeper into the darkness surrounding Fox Hollow.

But finding the remains was only the beginning.

In this episode of The Black Lantern Files, Patrick Landis and Larry Freund follow a trail of disappearances, disturbing testimony, unanswered questions, and secrets that Herb Baumeister may have taken to his grave.

What really happened behind the gates of Fox Hollow Farm?

How many people entered that property and never left?

And perhaps most unsettling of all…

Did investigators uncover the whole story—or only what Fox Hollow allowed them to find?

Turn down the lights. Grab a lantern.

File#002 is open.

In Episode 1 of The Black Lantern Files, Patrik Landis and Larry Freund open the disturbing case of The Ammons Haunting-one of Indiana's most infamous paranormal stories.

A family in Gary, Indiana claimed their home was plagued by shadowy figures, unexplained footsteps, strange voices, and terrifying behavior that seemed to defy explanation. But this case went far beyond the family's claims. Police officers, medical professionals, child services workers, and even a Catholic priest became involved- and some reported witnessing things they couldn't explain.

Was the Ammons house truly home to something evil, or is there another explanation behind what happened?

Grab a lantern. File#001 is open.
