Tessa Alexa Stanford, Founder & CEO of the Institute for Open-Hearted Psychology and Unspoken Global, left her decade-long career in the Social Welfare Sector in 2016 when she became increasingly disillusioned with our systems of care and modern psychological approaches to mental health and overall wellbeing.

During her career, Tessa attained her First Class Honours in Psychology (2011) and specialised in Holistic Wellbeing Interventions, Trauma Assessments and Staff Development, working with disadvantaged populations across Child Protection, Early Intervention Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Alternative Education, and with Asylum Seekers and Refugees.

She now works at the nexus of mental health, spirituality and creativity, offering pathways of initiation in True-Self Expression and Grief-Informed Leadership.
