Carrie White has been having the worst prom night in horror history for fifty years, so I wasn't entirely convinced we needed another adaptation. But Mike Flanagan has given me plenty of reasons to reconsider.

I'm also getting into the darker side of motherhood, bullying in the age of social media, some clever connections to Stephen King's original novel, and why I'm not entirely sure we should trust the people claiming to protect Carrie.

There's plenty to love, a few things I'd debate with Mike about, and some very intriguing possibilities for season two.
