Synopsis:

This conversation will explore how immigration policies, particularly under the current administration, impact Latiné communities. We’ll discuss DACA, green card barriers, and the broader fight for migrant justice.

I had the profound honor of sitting down with the incomparable Tiommi Luckett, a visionary leader and truth-teller in the fight for HIV justice. I’m thrilled to announce that our interview episode will drop next week.

Together, we journeyed through stories of HIV diagnosis, the weight and resistance of stigma, and the transformative power of advocacy. Tiommi opened her heart about finding love within yourself, even when the world tries to make you feel unworthy.

We live in a time of intensifying adversity and rising hostility, but we refuse to be swayed from our mission of Love and Community. Our liberation is not up for negotiation.

They may try to erase the T from the queer acronym, but we are still here—rooted, rising, and ready. Love is our lineage. Community is our compass. And together, we will continue to build the future we deserve.

🎥 Behind the scenes of our TDOR episode, we had a powerful teachable moment. 🌈

During filming, our director misgendered one of our participants. Instead of reacting, we paused to create a space for understanding and education about nonbinary pronouns and identity.

This clip reminds us that even in moments of discomfort, there’s an opportunity to grow and deepen our respect for one another. Learning to honor people’s identities is an ongoing process, and showing compassion while correcting mistakes is essential to fostering inclusivity.
