• Too Short's N-Word Pass Has One Big Problem | BAM Ep. 6
    25 Sep 2026

Too Short is handing out passes now. We have questions. We start with "Five Letter Word" and the N-word pass conversation: who gets one, who decides, and why are we giving these things out so freely? I have a few notes.

Mac Dre finally gets his street in Vallejo, and we get into why it took so long to honor a Bay Area legend. Then it's Brooke Jenkins, proposed changes to California's pretrial detention rules, and the Pittsburg story about a gun hidden in a police-station toilet. You got all the way inside the police station, and the toilet was the plan? We also check in on Concord's police drones, because apparently there's an aerial department now.

There's a Malibu sinkhole that sends us straight into a Nicolas Cage conversation, Southern California humidity doing its best Florida impression, and the bad news out of Burning Man. We talk movie critics, influencers, and whether anybody is giving you an honest opinion anymore. We also get into reports of attacks on homeless people and the ugly chase for attention online.

Then it's Ed Sheeran, Macklemore, Gaza, and celebrity politics. We talk Trump's 9/11 story, Netanyahu and Haaretz, and New York's 9/11 air-safety records. To close it out: an AI researcher walks away, conscience enters the chat, and we have a few more questions about the people building this stuff.

Bay Area news, jokes, arguments, and occasional bad judgment. The news is real. Some of the artwork isn't. Our judgment remains under review.
