Gillian has written many books on rock music including She’s A Rebel: The History of Women in Rock & Roll, The Rough Guide To Nirvana, World Domination: The Sub Pop Records Story, and In Utero part of Continuum’s 33 1/3 series.

    In this interview, Gillian talks about living in Seattle during the grunge years, her creative process, interviewing Steve Albini, and some tips for tourists who want to soak in some grunge history when visiting Seattle.
