In very rare fashion on this podcast, today's episode features someone I've known of and respected for many many years but had never met prior to our conversation. Pete is a legend and it was such an honor to have him on the show! We get into growing up on the border, the early days and meeting Selena, his first experience in the studio, Spanish lyric translation, Flaco Jimenez and the collab with Chris Perez and Louie The Singer, writing what you know and much more! We didn't have time for soooo many things I wanted to talk about so you can definitely count on a part two of this conversation the future.

Finally got to catch up with mi amigo JT in the coolest speakeasy in Gruene, TX (Shoutout Gruene Grove!).
