Über diesen Titel

Nothing Is Required is a trauma-informed sound podcast designed for nervous systems that live in brace mode.

Hosted by Navy Veteran and Sound Alchemist JS Worldbridger and Julie Jules Smoot this podcast offers structured gong listening sessions created to support regulation, grounding, and reduced overwhelm. Each episode is paced intentionally — with gradual entry, predictable resonance, and space to soften without pressure.

These are not performance-based meditations.

There is no emotional outcome to achieve.
There is nothing to fix.

Through Chiron Gong, planetary gong sessions, and steady vibrational sound fields, listeners are invited to practice un-bracing — gently and at their own pace.

This podcast is designed for individuals living with trauma histories, CPTSD, chronic stress, sensory sensitivity, and nervous system dysregulation who are seeking contained, non-verbal support between therapy sessions.

Nothing is required of you here.

You are not asked to go deeper than your body wants to go.
You are simply invited to listen.

  • The Body Comes Back: A Listening Session
    Apr 7 2026

The Body Comes Back is a trauma-informed listening session for the moment after a boundary has been set.

    Not the moment of speaking.
    Not the moment of holding.
    The moment after.

When the body is still carrying activation.
When the nervous system has not yet settled.
When something has shifted—but has not fully returned.

This session does not guide you toward calm.
It does not ask you to release.
It does not require you to feel any certain way.

    It offers space.

Through low, steady tones and open intervals of sound, this piece allows your body to move at its own pace—without pressure, without expectation, without demand.

There is no right way to listen.
You may sit, lie down, move, or step away.
You may listen fully, or only for a few moments.

    Nothing is required of you.

This is a place where the body is not pushed forward or pulled back—
but gently allowed to come back on its own.

The opening moments of this episode include a short excerpt from Regulation Before Release.

This excerpt is offered as orientation and stabilization before the main content begins. It is not an exercise and does not ask the listener to relax, process, or change anything. The sound is shared as structure—something steady that can be present while the nervous system settles at its own pace.

  • I Am Not the Story You Erase
    Apr 6 2026

I Am Not the Story You Erase is a spoken word piece rooted in truth, survival, and refusal.

This is not a performance built for comfort.
It is a voice that will not be rewritten, softened, or dismissed.

Through direct language and lived experience, this piece confronts the realities too often ignored—military sexual trauma, systemic silence, and the harm of reducing women who serve to labels that erase their humanity and service.

It speaks from the body that carried it.
From the voice that refused to stay quiet.
From the truth that has been documented, written, and spoken—again and again.

This is a declaration of sovereignty.

    I served.
    I survived.
    I spoke.

And I will not be erased.

  • Week 2 — Jupiter Gong: Rightful Expansion: Staying With What Begins to Open
    Apr 6 2026

In the first week, you may have noticed moments of space—subtle or clear—where something in the body or mind did not feel as restricted.

This week is not about expanding further.
It is about staying with what has already begun.

Week 2 — Jupiter Gong: Rightful Expansion holds a steady, spacious field of sound where nothing is amplified on purpose. The tones remain open, but grounded—allowing any sense of expansion to exist without being pushed, chased, or deepened.

There is no need to reach for more.
There is no expectation to feel bigger, lighter, or freer.

If space is present, you can rest with it.
If it closes, that is also part of the process.

This is not about growth as effort.
It is about allowing what is already here to be enough.

    You may notice:

moments of openness that come and go
a quiet sense of internal space
    resistance to expansion
or no noticeable change at all

    All of it belongs.

You can listen in stillness or while moving through your day.
You can engage the sound or let it remain in the background.

The sound does not require your participation to continue.

This week supports the nervous system in learning that expansion does not have to be overwhelming, and that more space does not mean losing control.

Week 2 — Jupiter Gong: Rightful Expansion
A listening experience where expansion is not pursued—only allowed, if and when it is safe enough to remain.

The opening moments of this episode include a short excerpt from Regulation Before Release.
