This is an episode we didn't expect to do and we are so excited about it!

After the last episode, we received questions from listeners and decided to answer them together in this episode. Like the last time this is totally impromptu, not planned, scripted or rehearsed and so much fun—we think!

Once we began recording, we found ourselves bantering for a bit before getting to the questions, which elicited very thoughtful, honest, direct, and if I do say so, funny answers.

Please feel free to share this with anyone who could use the reminder that it is never too late for good and unexpected things to happen in later life!

Keep those comments and questions coming!

I firmly believe that loving our life is up to us. With all that life throws at us, we get to decide how we respond. Sometimes, life throws us opportunities to enhance our lives, ifwe choose to take risks. And sometimes it works out better than we could have imagined.

This episode is a conversation with the man who changed my life, quite literally. It is our story which begins with the magical night that led to our journey of finding unexpected love in a very unexpected place.

We share our stories and the challenges and risks we each took that changed the trajectory of both our lives. I promise that you will laugh out loud from his impromptu humor and will be surprised by his vulnerability. By the end, you might even believe that it is never too late and you are never too old to make changes and take risks for whatever your soul is calling you to do.

Please, join us. This is an episode you won't soon forget.

Welcome back!!

Have you ever had your life change for the better from just one encounter? Well, mine did and I am back with Loving Later Life after a life-changing summer.

This is episode 129, and I suppose you could either call it the first of Season 5 after the break, or the first of Season 6 if we now go from September to June. Either way, we're back after summer of 2026 is officially over, and it's so good to be back.

I want to hear from you about what stood out for you this summer, so please reach out to me at nancy@lovinglaterlife.com.

In addition to several highlights from challenging to fulfilling, my life has changed, and I can't wait to share with you.

Hint: It. Is. Never. Too. Late!

Please join me for this new season of Loving Later Life!

Welcome to Loving Later Life, episode 128. This episode grew out of a combination of necessity, serendipitous timing, and changes coming.

Please join me as I share all the above.

Until the next time, live passionately, live vulnerably, and keep loving later life!

I was recently reminded of an article I once wrote for the Orange County Register about the movie, Enough Said. It's much more than about boy meets girl. It's also about how other people's opinions and baggage influence how we feel, what we see and ultimately affect our choices and actions.

These days I see this happening more and more in so many areas of our lives. Do we listen to and trust our own instincts in making choices… and even in our opinions about a movie, or do we listen more to others?

In this episode I share some of my own experiences with the above and begin with a totally unrelated frustration with our medical system.

I hope you'll join me!

Hey y'all!

I have a big family weekend preceeding this week's episode so I decided to drop an encore episode for this week…and not just any episode!

I was reminded by a social media media that it has been a year since one of theeee most listened to episodes of Loving Later Life was first released, so I decided that was a sign that I replay it at this time.

My special guest was Dr. Harpriya Singh. For those of you who listened before: this is one to listen to again for a re-boot and potential life-altering reminders. If you haven't heard it yet, you will see why it was one of the most listened to episodes.

Right after this is the introduction I recorded last year, and then our conversation. Sit back and take it all in!

I will see you in 2 weeks!

This episode is about part of a conversation that I had with a friend and wanted to share with you. It's not meant to educate or move you profoundly, but merely to ask a question that I found interesting to ponder because the answer was more obvious to me than my friend. And if this was the case for me, I thought perhaps it could be fodder for thought for some of you.

Is manipulation always a negative?

What do you think?

Are you making choices and living your life based on what you think would be considered the 'right' thing to do by others? Or to get support from others?

Are you staying open to the possibilities of life, or the "realities???"

Are you willing to take chances against the 'norm' in order to live a life that will bring you love, fulfillment, happiness, joy and laughter?

Is the path you are on, getting narrower as a result of your choices and your mindset? Guess what? It's never too late to live wide.

Listen to this episode and hear more about what it means to live wide and how that can affect the quality of the rest of your life!
