In this episode of the Living Out 180 Podcast, Kendall and Pastor Brad continue the Go to Battle series by confronting one of the heaviest battles we can face: guilt.

Drawing from Psalm 32, Psalm 51, and Romans 8, they explore the difference between conviction that leads to repentance and condemnation that keeps us trapped in shame. Looking at David's life after his sin with Bathsheba, they discuss how guilt weakens us, weighs us down, and isolates us from both God and the people who can help us most.

Together, Kendall and Pastor Brad share practical, biblical steps for battling guilt: stop hiding, confess your sin honestly, receive God's healing, move closer to His presence, and allow your story of redemption to become a testimony that points others to Christ.

No matter what you've done or how long you've carried it, the grace of Jesus is greater than your guilt.

    Key Scripture: Romans 8:1–2 Psalm 32:3–5 Psalm 51:1–13 1 John 1:9

    Listen in and reflect:

What would change if you stopped hiding your guilt and allowed God's grace to bring healing instead?

In this episode of the Living Out 180 Podcast, Kendall and Pastor Brad continue the Go to Battle series by tackling one of the most common battles we all face: worry.

Drawing from Matthew 6 and Philippians 4, they explore the difference between healthy concern and unhealthy worry. While concern moves us toward wise action, worry traps us in a cycle of fear over things we cannot control. Together, they unpack why worry creates a divided mind and heart, steals our peace, and pulls our attention away from trusting God.

Kendall and Pastor Brad also discuss practical ways to battle worry by establishing the right priorities, seeking God's Kingdom first, turning worry into prayer, and learning to live one day at a time. Instead of dwelling on yesterday's regrets or tomorrow's uncertainties, Jesus invites us to trust that our Heavenly Father already knows what we need.

    Key Scripture: Matthew 6:25–34 Philippians 4:6–7 Hebrews 12:2 Ephesians 4:14 Matthew 6:33–34

    Listen in and reflect:

What worry are you carrying that God is inviting you to place in His hands today?

In this episode of the Living Out 180 Podcast, Kendall and Pastor Brad continue the Go to Battle series by taking on the battle of discouragement.

Using Nehemiah 4, they explore the common factors that make us vulnerable to discouragement: fatigue, frustration, failure, and fear. When strength runs low, the rubble feels overwhelming, and criticism keeps coming, it can be easy to believe the work is no longer worth continuing.

Kendall and Brad also look at Nehemiah’s response. He cried out to God, kept doing the work God had given him, focused on the bigger picture, rehearsed God’s promises, and helped people carry the burden together.

This episode is a reminder that discouragement may tell you to stop, but God can give you the strength to keep building.

    Key Scripture: Nehemiah 4:1–23 2 Corinthians 4:1 Luke 18:1 Psalm 46:1–3 Galatians 6:9 Matthew 11:28

Listen in and reflect: Where are you discouraged, and what would it look like to keep building with God’s help?
