The National Coalition for Sexual Health states that sexual health encompasses having a healthier body, valuing and feeling good about yourself, having a peace of mind and experiencing intimacy, pleasure and joy. In light of the aforementioned sexual health seems to be an important element in having and maintaining a healthy and productive life.
