This week we sit down and talk to RB for the Hertfordshire Cheetahs and Coach for the Reading Knights Maisie Crittenden.
It was a joy to get to know this human a bit better as she took us on her journey through American Football. It was a privilege to gain an insight into an athlete with disabilities and how she navigates her own expectations against the physical and mental demands of the sport. Maisie speaks passionately about her love of coaching and how she has grown into the coach she is today.
Behind the bravado and banter is a human with a pure love of football and compassion for the human condition not seen from this perspective on the channel before and for that i am extremely grateful.

This week we had the absolute pleasure to sit and talk with Dr Zoe John of the Birmingham Lions and GB Lions. It was an absolute pleasure to learn about Zoe's journey through sport to the highest pinnacle of our sport.

Zoe spoke bravely about how she navigates her battle with her eating disorders and how teams can best support members that may need support with this.

I speak from personal experience when i say that Zoe is an exemplary role model for this sport and has been nothing but a friendly welcoming being for both my times at GB.
