Isaiah 30 reminds us that human strength cannot replace the power of God. Judah trusted in Egypt, pursued earthly protection, and rejected the LORD’s counsel—but God called His people back to repentance, rest, quietness, and confidence.

When we return to the LORD and wait upon Him, He gives us direction, healing, protection, and strength.

“In returning and rest shall ye be saued; in quietnesse and in confidence shall be your strength.” — Isaiah 30:15, 1611 KJV

Do not run to fear. Do not depend on human power. Return to the LORD, trust His Word, and walk in the way He has shown you.

The LORD is our refuge, our guide, and our salvation.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example of righteousness, holiness, love, mercy, truth, obedience, and faithfulness. As we abide in Him and yield to the Holy Ghost, His character begins to shine through our lives.

Shall we walk in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance—bearing fruit that glorifies God and points others to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Established on Christ. Led by the Spirit. Bearing fruit in righteousness.
