  • Why should I get a Heat Pump?
    Oct 1 2026

    Why should I get a Heat Pump? Clearly explained by Sune Nightingale Co-founder www.firepower.co.uk 01803 712 695

    Also, do remember -

Heat pump installations are zero VAT. This covers all labour and materials for the job.

EPC - a heat pump can help to nudge the EPC rating up, check what effect swapping to an efficient heat pump would have with the assessor. EPCs are due to change methodology in 2027 to include other metrics, including the heating system, making a move away from oil even more beneficial, and in 2030 minimum EPC ratings of C will apply to rented properties.
