• When Your Needs Are Always the First to Be Postponed | 004
    Oct 12 2026

What happens when your needs become the one thing that can always be postponed?

“I don’t have time for myself” can sound like a simple reality of a full life. But beneath the responsibilities, deadlines, relationships, financial decisions, and people who need you, there may be another question worth exploring: When did making room for yourself become optional?

Cherie reflects on her own pattern of recovering just enough to return to the same way of living, and the distinction she eventually discovered between recovery and restoration. From there, she explores the less visible costs of continually coming last—exhaustion, resentment, disconnection, and losing touch with your own desires.

Rather than suggesting another time-management strategy or encouraging impulsive spending in the name of self-care, Cherie invites a more honest look at time, energy, money, support, and the choices available to you now. Sometimes reclaiming yourself may begin with asking for help, lowering a standard, sharing a responsibility, creating a boundary, or simply recognizing that your needs belong in the conversation too.

Complete this sentence for yourself: The space I am ready to reclaim is…

    What You’re Invited to Discover:

    • The important difference Cherie discovered between recovery and restoration
    • What may be hiding beneath the familiar words “I don’t have time for myself”
    • A different way to consider the cost of waiting, not only the cost of taking action
    • Where time, energy, money, boundaries, and support intersect with patterns of self-sacrifice
    • One honest question that may help you begin reclaiming space without trying to transform your whole life overnight

  • How to Begin Trusting Yourself Again When You’ve Tried Everything | 003
    Oct 12 2026

How do you begin trusting yourself again when you feel as though you've tried everything?

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that can come from starting over—another routine, another promise, another attempt to change—only to find yourself returning to familiar patterns. Eventually, the disappointment can become something more personal: Maybe nothing works for me. Maybe I’m the problem.

Cherie brings curiosity and compassion to that fear, exploring why knowing what you need isn't always the same as feeling able to follow through. Through her own experiences with perfectionism, doing everything alone, and looking outside herself for answers, she reflects on self-trust as something that may be built through action rather than something you have to wait to feel.

Cherie shares three ways to begin differently: starting smaller than your perfectionism wants, noticing your evidence of return, and allowing yourself to be supported. Rather than measuring yourself by everything you haven't completed, she invites you to notice the moments when you listened, paused, asked for help, rested, or honoured what you needed.

Where might you be using an old pattern as proof that change isn't possible—and what could your next honest step be instead?

    What You’re Invited to Discover:

    • The deeper fear that can hide beneath the words “I’ve tried everything”
    • A different way to understand inconsistency without automatically making it evidence of failure
    • Why knowing what you need may not always make changing an old pattern feel easy
    • The small moments of return you may be overlooking when measuring your own progress
    • A gentler possibility for rebuilding self-trust without needing to know or trust the entire path

  • Beyond Managing Symptoms: The Four Pillars of Radiance | 002
    Oct 12 2026

What if supporting yourself in midlife is about more than managing one symptom, emotion, habit, or challenge at a time?

For many women, the search for feeling better can become a collection of separate solutions—one for the body, another for stress, another for mindset—while the woman at the centre of it all can begin to disappear. Cherie explores a different possibility through her Four Pillars of Radiance: Health, Healing, Happiness, and Heart.

Drawing from her own lived experience and years of working with women, Cherie reflects on what can shift when you begin seeing yourself as a whole rather than a collection of problems to solve. From your relationship with your physical body to the emotions you carry, the joy you may have postponed, and your capacity to receive without abandoning yourself, each pillar offers a different doorway back into connection.

This isn't another checklist or an invitation to work on everything at once. Instead, it is an opportunity to become curious about what may be asking for your attention now.

As you consider Health, Healing, Happiness, and Heart, which pillar feels most supported in your life—and which one may have quietly been waiting for you?

    What You’re Invited to Discover:

    • The Four Pillars of Radiance and the different doorway each may offer into your relationship with yourself
    • A different way to consider midlife when another strategy, solution, or to-do list doesn't feel like the answer
    • The hidden connection between constantly holding everything together and losing touch with what you need
    • Where joy, receiving, boundaries, and self-compassion may belong in a conversation about well-being
    • An invitation to notice which of the four pillars—Health, Healing, Happiness, or Heart—is calling for your attention now

  • Have You Mistaken Self-Override for Strength? | 001
    Oct 12 2026

What happens when being strong begins to look a lot like overriding what your body has been trying to tell you?

In the first episode of Sacred She Reset, Cherie Ashana shares the deeply personal story behind the podcast and the experiences that shaped her relationship with her body. After years of surgeries, medical interventions, recovery, travel, and repeatedly finding a way to keep going, she began to question something she had long considered one of her greatest strengths: her resilience.

Drawing from her own journey, Cherie explores the space between resilience and self-override, what it can feel like to become disconnected from your own needs, and the possibility of participating more fully in the relationship you have with your body. She reflects on medical care, self-listening, midlife, menopause, identity, and the gradual process of learning to trust herself differently.

This is not a conversation about rejecting professional care or finding one perfect answer. It is an invitation to become curious about what you may have learned to normalize while keeping everything together.

Where in your own life might you have mistaken override for strength—and what could you begin to notice if you listened differently?

    What You’re Invited to Discover:

    • The hidden tension between being resilient and continually overriding what you feel
    • A different way to consider the relationship between professional care and listening to yourself
    • Where years of being capable, dependable, and strong may leave little room for your own needs
    • The connection between body awareness, identity, self-trust, and the changes that can accompany midlife
    • A possibility that opens when you become curious about what your body may have been communicating
