Sometimes the people we love most are also the people for whom we carry our deepest worries. In Joshua 24, God’s people are called to remember His faithfulness and choose whom they will serve. Joshua’s declaration about his household expresses a commitment to honour the Lord. It reminds us that faith should shape how we live and how we treat one another. Today, we remember our prayer family across Brazil, Jamaica, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Israel and Bahrain. Across different cultures and family circumstances, the longing to love and be loved remains deeply human. Heavenly Father, thank You for the people You have placed in our lives. Lord Jesus, bring tenderness where relationships have become strained, wisdom where difficult conversations are needed and comfort where separation or grief has left an empty place. Holy Spirit, teach us to listen patiently, forgive sincerely and speak with kindness. Strengthen parents, encourage children, support those caring for relatives and surround those who feel they have no family nearby. Help our homes and relationships reflect Your compassion, truth and grace. May the love of Jesus Christ shape your words, His wisdom guide your relationships and His peace dwell within your home.
