She is lost, confused, and desperate to get back to the real world, where her mother requires life saving surgery. Meanwhile, The Mist is populated with worthless NFTs, avatars, and cast-off digital characters from the NFT boom of the early 2020s. After meeting up with a Bored Ape Yacht Club member named Dash (Simon Rex), a former NBA highlight in the form of Metta World Peace, and a rising rapper named Stackboy (Trinidad James), she begins her journey to return to the real world with her newfound friends.
