Living in a fallen world, we will inevitably experience hardships and less desirable circumstances. When faced with these challenges, there’s always the temptation to wallow in the sorrow that they bring. The Lord however, in His kindness, provides a defense mechanism for us via the fruit of the Spirit that is joy. This episode is an exhortation to choose joy. Joy in spite of. Joy anyway. Joy anyhow.

In this episode we get into what the Wilderness, on both a personal and Biblical level, looks and feels like for God’s people. We begin talking through Trin’s own Wilderness season, and how the Lord directed, kept, and sustained through it all. Very much like He did for the Israelites. Evidence of His unchaining character and unfailing love.

In this transparent episode, we get into the nitty gritty of what shame does to us; and how Jesus paid it all so that we don’t have to. The truth of the gospel in the context of shame’s effects is explored, and scripture reveals how the Lord sees us. Unbound & blameless.
