Welcome to Good Is What Makes You Feel Well, Season 2 finale.
I can’t believe we’ve reached the end of another incredible season—forty conversations, forty moments of connection, curiosity, and inspiration. And I have to say… it has been an absolute joy from beginning to end.

Season 3 will be arriving in March. I’m taking a short break to recalibrate, refocus, and realign my business with the direction it’s naturally evolving toward. This pause feels important—like an inhale before the next beautiful exhale.

I have recorded many episodes of season 3, and I’ll assure you, it’s going to be great. I’ll keep inviting people who expand my mind and nourish my spirit, because these dialogues are such a treasured part of my own life—and I know they’ve become a meaningful part of yours as well.

So here’s to the end of an incredible Season 2… and to the beginning of whatever unfolds next.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

I’ll see you in March for Season 3.

  • Jamie Lerner’s Integrative Approach to Well-Being: Designing a Joyful Life
    Dec 19 2025

    Send us a text

Today’s guest embodies curiosity, clarity, and an unapologetically joyful approach to living. Jamie Lerner describes herself as having been “born with a knowing”—a deep inner sense of who she came here to become. Encouraged from childhood to follow every spark of curiosity, she stepped into life with what she calls “wild abandonment,” choosing the road less traveled and allowing her inner being to guide her every step of the way.

She is a psychotherapist and an author, who has traveled the world exploring diverse healing modalities and embraced beauty, pleasure, and joy as essential parts of everyday living. And she continues to meet life with enthusiasm, presence, and a remarkable sense of alignment.

Jamie brings this same spirit to her work, offering integrative well-being sessions designed to help people reconnect with themselves and quickly reframe their thoughts and feelings.

In today’s conversation, we explore the wisdom, the contrast, and the joyful self-creation that have shaped Jamie’s path—and how her approach can help each of us reconnect with our own inner knowing and truly experience what self-love really means. It was a short, juicy and deep conversation. Let’s dive in!

    Dec 5 2025

    Send us a text

This episode is a deep dive into the power of holistic health, community connection, and what it truly means to build a culture of wellness from the ground up. I’m joined by someone who embodies all of that and more: Nicole Fey, founder of the East Tennessee Wellness Directory.

Nicole’s journey began with her own exploration of nutrition, spiritual growth, and alternative healing — a path that revealed her calling to help others heal not just individually, but collectively. Through the East Tennessee Wellness Directory, she’s creating a unified ecosystem where holistic practitioners are uplifted, collaboration replaces competition, and individuals and families can easily find trusted natural and alternative health resources.

With more than 25 years of experience in wellness, sustainability, leadership, and education, Nicole brings a depth of wisdom and perspective that informs everything she does. Her extensive training — from holistic health coaching and yoga to building biology, feng shui, and Reiki — reflects her belief that healing is multidimensional and deeply interconnected.

Nicole envisions the East Tennessee Wellness Directory not just as a resource, but as a movement — a catalyst for awakening and empowerment, inviting each of us to trust our intuition, embrace our innate wisdom, and participate in a collective approach to wellbeing.

I cannot wait for you to hear this conversation. Let’s dive in.

  • Joan Peters on Untangling for Deep Healing: How Psychoanalysis Changed My Life
    Nov 21 2025

    Send us a text

In this episode, my guest Joan Peters - an author, writer, and scholar, tells her truly remarkable story.

Born in New York City, Joan earned her Ph.D. in literature from the University of Chicago and went on to become a professor of literature and writing at California State University Channel Islands, where she is now professor emeritus.

Joan joins us to talk about her newest and most personal work, Untangling — a candid memoir that pulls back the curtain on one of the most mysterious and transformative forms of therapy: psychoanalysis. Few patients have ever written openly about their analytic journeys, and even fewer with the courage, clarity, and literary depth that Joan brings.

In this episode, we explore how psychoanalysis helped Joan navigate the hidden forces shaping her life, what ultimately inspired her to share her experience publicly in her memoir, and why she believes this multi-layered therapeutic process has the power to change lives.

Please welcome the brilliant and deeply insightful Joan Peters.

  • Marc Joseph in The Boomer Connection: Building a Legacy Through Curiosity
    Nov 7 2025

    Send us a text

Today, I’m thrilled to be joined by someone who truly embodies the spirit of legacy building — Marc Joseph.

Marc’s first book, “The Secrets of Retailing…How to Beat Wal-Mart,” was written to help small businesses and entrepreneurs stand tall against the big guys. His insights caught the attention of none other than Arianna Huffington, who invited him to become a contributor to the Huffington Post. Since then, Marc has written over 100 articles on topics that matter deeply to all of us — from small business and education to homelessness and other causes close to the heart of our communities.

Now, as the co-founder of BabyBoomer.org, a platform bringing together news, resources, and connection opportunities for the baby boomer generation, Marc is expanding his legacy. The platform is an information hub originally designed for people 65 and older, that has actually been serving people of all ages.

And that’s not all — under the pen name Gramps Jeffrey, Marc also wrote the charming and thoughtful children’s book “I Don’t Want to Turn 3” - a story inspired by his real-life experiences with his six grandchildren, which explores what goes through a toddler’s mind and bridges that beautiful gap between generations.

In this conversation, we’re reflecting on how small acts of care and responsibility today can shape a brighter, more sustainable future—for ourselves, our communities, and the generations that follow.

  • Abby Rosmarin’s Solo Love Story – Healing Without a Plus One
    Oct 24 2025

    Send us a text

What if the greatest love story of your life… was the one you had with yourself?

In this episode, I’m joined by Abby Rosmarin — a writer, former teacher, and yoga teacher whose work has been featured in HuffPost, Bustle, Thought Catalog, The Bangalore Review, and more. Over the past nine years, she’s been writing her way through the messiness of being human — from heartbreak and trauma recovery to mental health, self-worth, and the often-overlooked power of solitude.

Abby is the author of several independently published books, including The Ballerina’s Guide to Boxing and Venom. Her newest book, The Year of Dating Myself: How My Solo Tour Healed More Than Just My Heartbreak, which came out this summer, is part memoir, part love letter to the self, and part wake-up call for anyone who's ever lost themselves in love.

In today’s conversation, we talk about what it means to truly come home to yourself after years of chasing validation, romance, and the promise of the “perfect” life. Abby opens up about the patterns she had to break, the uncomfortable truths she had to face, and how choosing to date herself changed everything.

This episode is for anyone who's ever asked, "How did I get here?" — and is ready to take their power back.

  • Laurie Kaye on Love, Loss, and Lennon - When Music Heals
    Sep 26 2025

    Send us a text

Today’s guest is someone whose life and career are deeply intertwined with the heartbeat of rock and roll history. Laurie Kaye is a legendary music journalist and producer whose voice was once heard across the nation on iconic stations like KFRC in San Francisco, and whose writing helped shape landmark radio specials—including The Beatles: From Liverpool to Legend. But Laurie isn’t just a chronicler of music history—she’s a witness to one of its most tragic moments. On December 8, 1980, she sat down with John Lennon and Yoko Ono for what would be John’s final interview—just hours before his death. That experience, and the haunting encounter she had immediately afterward with Lennon’s assassin, shaped the course of her life. Laurie tells that story in her powerful memoir, Confessions of a Rock ’n’ Roll Name-Dropper, where she shares not just the names, but the soul of the music and artists who saved her—and in turn, how music can truly save lives. In today’s conversation, we delve into the healing power of music, the significance of storytelling, and what it means to bear both the joy and weight of being part of history.
