What if gratitude became more than a moment around the Thanksgiving table? What if it became a way of living, a way of seeing God’s goodness in the ordinary, and a way of drawing our families and communities closer together?

In this episode of Everyday Holiday Home, we’re making room for gratitude throughout November. Together, we’ll explore simple, meaningful ways to remember God’s faithfulness, cultivate thankfulness in our homes, and invite our families to notice the blessings that can so easily go overlooked in the busyness of everyday life.

From a family Gratitude Jar to small acts of kindness in our communities, you’ll discover practical ideas for making gratitude a natural part of your November—not another obligation on an already-full to-do list.

You don’t have to start on November 1st, follow a perfect plan, or do every activity. Simply choose what works for your family, begin where you are, and make space to remember the goodness of God together.

Pull up a chair, gather your people, and join me at the Gratitude Table. There’s always room for one more thankful heart.

Front Yard Community: Building a Life Together, One Neighbor at a Time

We live closer to one another than ever, yet meaningful, face-to-face community can feel surprisingly difficult to cultivate. In this episode of Everyday Holiday Home, we're exploring what it means to build genuine relationships with the people right outside our front doors.

From creating simple opportunities for connection on Halloween to extending kindness at Thanksgiving and making room for others at Christmas, we'll talk about practical ways to practice hospitality without adding unnecessary pressure to an already busy season.

We'll also talk honestly about what happens when invitations go unanswered, gatherings don't turn out as planned, or community feels harder to build than we expected.

And I'll share a little about my own journey as I begin the Come Away days—an opportunity to open my home as a quiet place for women to rest, read, pray, and be still. It's one small way I'm learning to create space for others while continuing to learn what community and hospitality look like in my own life.

Because community doesn't have to begin with a big event. Sometimes it begins with a conversation, a cup of coffee, a plate of cookies, or simply opening the front door.

  • Redeeming the Harvest Season
    Oct 13 2026

As summer fades and the autumn rhythm sets in, it’s time to recalibrate our homes and hearts. In this episode of Everyday Holiday Home, we explore what it truly means to step back into a intentional routine after the busy summer months and open our doors wide with purpose.

With Special Guest "Jenny" We Discuss:

    • The Art of Hospitality: Being deliberate about inviting neighbors, friends, and family into your space to build meaningful community connection.
    • Redeeming Halloween: A thoughtful look at how Christian families can navigate October 31st with grace—participating in the season without celebrating its darkness by simply showing up, turning on the porch light, and being a visible, welcoming presence to engage the neighborhood.

Grab a cozy cup of coffee and join us as we reclaim the beauty, hospitality, and light of the harvest season!
