Episode Three of The Sixth Sun is finally out, and I am so beyond excited to share this chapter of the story with you.

We pick up in the aftermath of the Ahuizotl's attack, where the boundaries between myth and modern Mexico City are cracking open. As the dust settles, a familiar presence reenters Huehuecóyotl's life : one that forces the trickster god to confront everything he thought he knew about fate, loyalty, and the fragile future of the Sixth Sun.

This episode dives deep into one of the most painful truths of our world: the killing of Tonantzin, the Earth Mother, who in this story represents our planet, our climate, and the living systems that sustain us. Her death at the hands of humanity mirrors the way we are destroying our own world in real time- through extraction, greed, and disconnection from the land. But The Sixth Sun is not a story of despair. It is a story about what we do after that loss, and whether we dare to believe that something better can still be born.

Rooted in Indigenous futurism and Mexica (Aztec) mythology, this chapter explores how gods, humans, and artists are all bound by the same question: when everything is burning, will we choose apathy… or will we choose hope?

Hope, in this story, is the most scarce resource of all- and the most powerful.

The Sixth Sun is an Indigenous-inspired fantasy audio drama set in a world where ancient gods walk through modern Mexico City, where climate collapse and colonial wounds collide, and where creativity itself becomes an act of resistance. This is a hope-core story for anyone who feels the weight of the world and still chooses to imagine something kinder rising from the ashes.

If you believe stories can change people, if you believe art can still save something, if you believe that even in the darkest timelines we are not finished yet... welcome back to the fire.

The End is not the End.

Rich Aucoin's newest music video, Space Western, is out now: a bold, cosmic, genre-bending vision of rebellion, survival, and wonder. Its sci-fi-meets-mythic energy pairs beautifully with the theme of exploring the same questions and what it means to keep dreaming when the future feels uncertain. If you're loving the music and narration in this episode, Space Western is a perfect next stop in that journey. Go check it out right after!
