Paul takes the truth of Christ’s preeminence and brings it directly into everyday life.
In Colossians 3:20–4:1, we look at children and parents, workers and bosses, discipline, work ethic, leadership, and what it means to put Jesus first in every one of those relationships.
The theme that kept emerging was simple: Look up.
Children—look up. Your obedience is ultimately for the Lord.
Fathers—look up. You’re a father, but you’re still a child who depends on your Father in heaven.
At work—look up. Whether you’re the boss or the employee, you ultimately serve Christ.
Authority in the kingdom of God isn’t permission to mistreat the people entrusted to us. Jesus showed us something completely different: the One with all authority became a servant.
Different roles. Different responsibilities. One Lord over all of them.
📖 Colossians 3:20–4:1
Keep your eyes on heavenly things. Keep your eyes on Christ. And keep walking with us on The Narrow Trail.
