  • 187. Your Pelvic Floor Needs More Than Kegels with Dr. Charlotte Lange
    Oct 29 2026

You leak when you sneeze, stop running because something hurts, or plan your day around whether your bladder is going to cooperate. Somewhere along the way, you decided that having babies or getting older meant this was just your life now.

Friends, I want you to question that.

In this episode, I’m joined by my own physical therapist, Dr. Charlotte Lange of Inform Physical Therapy and Wellness. Charlotte has been part of my care team for five years, and we’re getting very honest about what it took for me to move from painful bladder spasms and pelvic surgery to getting stronger and doing the things I love again.

We talk about why pelvic floor care involves more than Kegels, what Charlotte looks for when she evaluates movement, and how breathing, tension, scar tissue, and exercise modifications have been part of my care. We also discuss hands-on treatment, dry needling, finding a physical therapist, and why I still value support as my goals change.

You do not have to do CrossFit to hear yourself in this conversation. Picking up your children, carrying groceries, and moving through your day matter, too.

    In this conversation
    • The symptoms I dismissed before finally seeking help—and why I wanted more than a list of restrictions.
    • Charlotte’s approach to pelvic floor tension, coordination, and whole-body movement.
    • Why doing more Kegels was not the answer for me.
    • How body awareness and breathing became part of my everyday practice.
    • Hands-on care and dry needling in my rehabilitation and ongoing support.
    • What modifying a workout gave me permission to keep doing.
    • Questions to ask when looking for a pelvic floor physical therapist.
    • Where virtual education and exercise coaching can fit, and why we value in-person assessment for my needs.

  • 186. Your Feed Is Discipling You: How to Stay Awake Without Living Alarmed
    Oct 22 2026

You tell yourself you're staying informed. Okay. Informed enough to do what?

If the next video keeps taking the place of the meal, the walk, the bedtime, or the conversation you said mattered, we need to count that habit too. You do not get to describe your lifestyle by the three things you're proud of doing and leave out what you practice every night.

In this episode of The Dr. Danielle Difference, I open Mark 13 and talk about Christian discernment, attention, and the responsibilities God has already placed in front of us. Jesus prepares His followers for trouble and calls them to watchfulness. That deserves more care than treating every frightening headline as a reason to spend the rest of the day scrolling.

I share why I unfollowed two accounts, how I use Brick to create a boundary with my phone, and the questions I want you to ask before another video decides the rest of your afternoon. We also talk about what this has to do with your health: the actual time you have for meals, movement, rest, relationships, and putting what you're learning into practice.

This week, pick one boundary you can follow. Give Scripture and prayer your attention before your feed. Put the phone away during dinner. Set a time to check the news. Leave it outside your bedroom. Then give that attention back to something you've been neglecting.

    In this episode
    • How repeated attention trains your responses.
    • Why a Christian label does not replace reading Scripture in context.
    • Mark 13: deception, alarm, readiness, and the limits of what we know.
    • The difference between taking responsibility and trying to know everything.
    • Questions to ask about a source, its interpretation, and your next action.
    • Phone boundaries you can practice around mornings, meals, and bedtime.
    • Why Wilderness of Wellness connects health stewardship with implementation.

  • 185. Why Am I Gaining Weight When I’m Eating Well and Doing What Used to Work?
    Oct 15 2026

You’re eating better. You’re walking. You bought the freaking protein. So why are your jeans fitting differently, and why isn’t what used to work working anymore?

Before you take more food off your plate or add another workout to your already full calendar, we need to look at what your actual day looks like. The beautiful dinner you remember making doesn’t tell us what happened before it. Your workout doesn’t tell us how much you moved the rest of the day. And your weight doesn’t tell us everything about your sleep, symptoms, strength, or health.

In this episode of The Dr. Danielle Difference, I walk you through five places to look when your body is changing: your food patterns, your movement and strength, your sleep and stress, the symptoms you may be brushing off, and how you’re deciding whether anything is working.

You can take responsibility for your habits and still need medical care. Both belong in this conversation. I’ll also give you a seven-day inventory you can start with your actual schedule and the people who still need dinner tonight.

    In this episode
    • What “eating well” looks like across your whole day and week.
    • Why walking and strength deserve their own places in your plan.
    • What happens when your only time to yourself comes out of your sleep.
    • Bringing symptoms and health history into the conversation about changing weight.
    • Recognizing progress through energy, strength, sleep, and clothes fit.
    • How to take a seven-day inventory that gives you something useful to work with.
