  • Layoffs: 3,000 Applications, Friends and Family Go Quiet, Staying Away from Social Media
    Mar 13 2026

In this episode of Chaotic Reality, I’m talking about a part of hard seasons that people don’t really prepare you for.

We’ve sent out over 3,000 job applications, and the reality of that process is something most people never see. It’s exhausting, emotional, and honestly, it changes the way you look at a lot of things.

I also open up about something that surprised me the most during this time, how quiet things got from friends and family. Not out of anger, just the silence that can happen when life gets uncomfortable, and people don’t know what to say.

And I share why I’ve been staying away from social media, and how stepping back has actually helped protect my peace while we’re going through all of this.

This episode is just an honest conversation about what hard seasons really feel like behind the scenes, from one mom trying to figure it out as she goes.

If you’re in a tough season too, you’re not alone.

  • We Did Everything Right - So Why Are We Struggling?
    Feb 21 2026

Life is a chaotic struggle! Staying positive can be hard, but I promise it is worth it.

My family went from making lower six figures (is this a thing LOL) to nothing overnight. But we still push through because we do not have a "poor" mindset.

We followed the plan, worked hard, and built the life we were told would be stable, so why does it still feel like we’re trying to catch our breath?

I hope this episode brings some clarity and hope if you are going through something similar.

  • When Layoffs Hit Home - 39, Married, and Living in My Mom's Basement
    Feb 13 2026

We did everything we were told would lead to stability. The degrees, the debt, the delayed dreams. Now we’re raising families in the middle of repeated layoffs, carrying more uncertainty than security, and wrestling with a kind of shame no one prepares you for. If this is your current season, just know that you are not alone.
