  • How to Grow a Business Without Losing Your Marriage
    29 Sep 2026

Can you build a successful business without sacrificing your marriage, family, or faith?

In this episode of Called to Impact, Genesis Krick sits down with business coach, keynote speaker, author, and trainer Dave Kauffman, President of Empowering Small Business, for a conversation about the unique challenges facing entrepreneurial couples.

Dave shares lessons from more than 20 years of working with business owners, including how differences in communication, decision-making, risk tolerance, and personality can slowly create distance between spouses.

Genesis and Dave discuss why understanding yourself and your spouse is critical, how tools like DISC can improve communication, and why couples need a shared vision if they want to grow together rather than simply build successful lives alongside one another.

They also introduce their upcoming 12-month mastermind for entrepreneurial couples, designed to help couples strengthen their business, faith, family, finances, and relationship while building something meaningful together.

    In this episode:

    • Why successful businesses can still create struggling marriages
    • The communication gap many entrepreneurial couples face
    • How personality differences affect business decisions
    • Why one spouse may be the "gas pedal" while the other is the "brakes"
    • How past business failures can affect a marriage years later
    • Why understanding your spouse matters more than trying to change them
    • Using DISC to improve communication and self-awareness
    • Creating shared goals and a common vision
    • Growing together instead of growing apart
    • Why your spouse and family should never become secondary to the business
    • The upcoming mastermind for entrepreneurial couples

  • You Don't Need to Be More Productive. You Need This Instead.
    22 Sep 2026

What if the answer to feeling overwhelmed isn't becoming even more productive?

In this episode of Called to Impact, Genesis Krick introduces her new book, Organized Flexibility, and the framework she created to help working moms and women build structure into their lives without becoming trapped by rigid schedules and endless to-do lists.

Genesis breaks down her ADAPT framework — Anchors, Design, Assess, Protect, and Tweak — and explains how small adjustments can help you prioritize what matters, protect your wellbeing and family time, and adapt when life inevitably changes.

She also shares why faith is the foundation of the framework and how learning to adjust for different seasons of life can create more room for the things that matter most.

  • How 9/11 Changed Kimberly Fletcher's Life and Led to a National Movement
    15 Sep 2026

What happens when a moment changes the direction of your life—and you feel called to do something bigger with it?

In this episode of Called to Impact, Genesis welcomes Kimberly Fletcher, founder and president of Moms for America, for a conversation about faith, motherhood, leadership, entrepreneurship, perseverance, civic engagement, and having the courage to act on your convictions.

Kimberly shares the pivotal experience that changed her life: September 11, 2001. Her husband was stationed at the Pentagon and made it home safely that day. Kimberly describes how that experience caused her to think differently about citizenship, freedom, and the kind of country her children would inherit.

Over the years that followed, homeschooling, studying the Constitution, running for school board, and becoming involved in grassroots organizing eventually contributed to the founding of Moms for America in 2004.

In this episode, Genesis and Kimberly discuss:

    • How 9/11 became a pivotal moment in Kimberly's life
    • Her unexpected journey into homeschooling
    • Why she began studying the Constitution and American history
    • The experience that pushed her to run for school board
    • How Moms for America began
    • Recognizing a calling even when you don't know exactly where it will lead
    • Taking a leap of faith despite fear and uncertainty
    • Why failure can become an important part of growth
    • The difference between a setback and a necessary pivot
    • Why meaningful success usually requires patience and sacrifice
    • Building something without sacrificing your family in the process
    • Handling criticism when you speak publicly about your beliefs
    • Kimberly's perspective on motherhood, citizenship, faith, and civic involvement
    • The legacy she hopes to leave through her family and organization
    • Why community and relationships between women are important to her mission
    • The story behind Our American Story

Kimberly also discusses Our American Story, a live multimedia theatrical production created as part of the U.S. 250 Tour. The production presents 250 years of American history through storytelling, music, historical reenactments, and video presentations. Its Constitution Day Red Carpet Premiere is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at Southfork Ranch in the Dallas area.

Throughout the conversation, Kimberly and Genesis return to a central theme: impact often begins with having the courage to take the next step, even when you can't see exactly where it will lead.

Whether you're building a business, raising a family, stepping into leadership, pursuing a calling, or trying to make a difference in your community, this conversation explores what it means to keep moving forward through uncertainty, criticism, setbacks, and change.

This episode also marks a new chapter for the podcast as Dream.Ignite.Build. becomes Called to Impact, expanding the conversation beyond building a dream to exploring how people are using their experiences, talents, leadership, and convictions to make an impact.

Subscribe to Called to Impact for more conversations with entrepreneurs, leaders, mothers, founders, and changemakers about the experiences that shaped them and the impact they're working to create.
