This week we're talking with the author of Completion — an educator, minister, and world traveler now based in Teaneck, NJ — about everything it took to finally finish and publish her book. We get into her weight-loss journey, mental health, getting older, and the very real fear of putting something this personal out into the world. She even had to get her husband's and her church's blessing before she hit publish.

If you've ever sat on something you were too afraid to finish, this one's for you ☕

Megan Thee Stallion said her ex allegedly cheated and neglected her during basketball season — and we couldn't just scroll past that. So we sat down with our coffee and got into it: staying grounded, keeping your family as your checks and balances, learning your lesson instead of repeating it, and choosing gratitude even when it's hard. Real talk, real marriage, real cup of coffee. Also — go watch Bandit on Netflix, you'll thank us.

We popped a bottle, pulled up a chair, and let the conversation go wherever it wanted. 🥂

Our guest came through and kept it all the way real — who he is, the journey, the lessons, and the stories in between. No script, just good company and better conversation.

This is what CafeConChimmy is about: real people, real talk, at our table.
