In this episode, continue with part 2 of our discussion of chapters 45-47 (this is just 46 and 47–part 1 was last week’s ep!). This is the episode where we are training in the forest with Rhys and Feyre and there’s lots of tension between the two of them and then leads into the iconic encounter with Lucien in the forest. This is sort of the end of the “training montage” part of the book and a really interesting collision of Feyre’s two worlds. Lots of fun moments (Feyre’s line about the darkness, Rhys immediately touching Feyre’s dick, Feyre sprouting wings, and more!)

What’s your fav part of these chapters??

In this episode, we begin our discussion of chapters 45-47 (the time between Starfall and the inn!). We do begin with a longer discussion of the Azriel leak and Lucien quote (that ends/regular episode begins at 27:56). Also, we ended up splitting this ep into two since it was long so chapters 46-47 will be coming next week! We also discussing being made (because of the comments with Amren) and some other things. We also spent a good time discussing the Illyrian society and the interesting details we get in chapter 45 about this. This is also when we learn about the Tamlin and Rhys backstory which was another interesting deep dive.

In this episode, we discuss the aftermath of the visit to the Court of Nightmares, the conflict between Rhys and Feyre which then culminates in the night at Starfall! We’ve got lots of thoughts about how the relationship between them is changing and building and of course some general theorizing too–we take another look at Azriel smelling mate bonds in the bonus chapter at the beginning of this episode and also wonder if Aidas is at the Starfall party?? Because who is that mysterious man that Azriel and Cassian are talking to? And what are these souls? Starfall feels super significant/like it has major crossover potential and we don’t really have solid ideas but did have fun theorizing about it! Are they migrating around and around like whales or are these different spirits every year? Also another moment of intimacy covered in “paint” lol.

In this episode, we discuss the visit to the Court of Nightmares! There’s lots of really interesting parts of this chapter with the attack on the way (Mor was absent for that btw), the incessant flirting, Feyre being turned on by power, the tension between Rhys and his court and lots of interesting details about the sacred mountain! Plus this chapter is just so iconic. Also, Feyre flirting with Rhys made her feel like she’d been sleeping in a glass coffin (like the Asteri at the prison)?? What is that line lol??

What do you think–just her body reacting?

In this episode, we discuss the meeting with the human queens and the aftermath, just before they make the decision to go to the Night Court for that chapter! We’ve got lots of thoughts and ideas about what is really going on here: Why does Mor blurt out a question about winnowing at the start of a very tenuous and meticulously planned meeting? Is Rhys’ last name Moonbeam? What is his power (and what is Mor’s)?? What does the Veritas really do? Were the Black Lands the past of Eyllwe?

In this episode, we discuss some nice moments post-Summer Court with Rhys and Feyre and have lots of interesting discussions about some possibilities for this very classic scene! The idea that Rhys could have been having a meeting with Aidas in this scene (if true it is RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES OMG) is super interesting and we know it’s far-fetched! That’s honestly what makes it even more fun lol. We also discuss possibilities of Amren being an angel (an archangel? something!). Btw this was recorded before the ACOTAR 6 and & cover/thumbnail/title reveals just FYI!

What do you think of this? We know the crossover is continuing but to what extent??

In this episode, we discuss the break in to the temple in the Summer Court and the first scenes with the book! This is a part 2 because we recorded it with chapter 35 (ep 68) but the episode ended up being too long so we split it. This episode is also really interesting to discuss in terms of the multiverse, especially considering that the Book was created by the Asteri, Amren’s just out here using wyrdmarks, and the Book itself is really interesting! This was recorded before we got the titles/covers/blurbs for Book 6 and 7 but with that in mind, the book saying “Unmade and Made, Made and Unmade–that is the cycle. Like calls to like.” is even more interesting!! (What was broken will be “remade”--or is it unmade?) Also are Amren and Hunt related lol? Deanna connections? Did Hel help the Summer Court hide the book? Bruh we were on one this ep but it is actually so fun and interesting and there are so many thing to think about with this chapter!

Let us know what you think!

In this episode, we discuss the release of the TIITLES AND COVERS for BOTH ACOTAR 6 and 7! We’ve got theories about who will betrayer, who or what will be remade, possible tensions and revived alliances, ideas about what Koschei has in his freaking wyrdgate box, and a theory about the Valkyries of old! We had way too much fun in this emergency episode.

Let us know what you think! Does Koschei have the other Valkyries in his lake? Why was their dad able to cut the deal with “Koschei the Deathless” himself?! Who does that spider represent?? (A resurrected Weaver?? Elain gonna become a spider? lol)
