  • Why Are People So Easily Offended? | Free Speech & Online Bullies
    Nov 2 2026

Why are people so easily offended? When did words, opinions, and disagreements become reasons to attack one another?

What started as strangers insulting me for wearing a cowboy hat turned into a much bigger conversation about online bullying, free speech, social media outrage, changing language, and why we've become so quick to judge people without knowing their stories.

There's also a deeply personal reason I wear that cowboy hat. It connects me to my late father, and it's a reminder that what you see on the outside doesn't always tell you what's happening on the inside.

From Gen X humor and thick skin to political labels, accountability, and learning to disagree without becoming enemies, nothing is off the table.

My message is simple: You can't control what other people say, but you have more control over how you respond than you might think.

No script. No notes. Just storytelling, perspective, conviction, and a little sarcasm along the way.

Welcome to All About the Biscuits.

  • Drowning, But Okay: Why Everything Feels So Damn Exhausting
    Oct 26 2026

Ever feel like you're drowning—even though, technically, you're okay?

That's where I found myself on a Thursday morning Mission Run. Nothing was falling apart. I had plenty to be grateful for.

I was just fucking exhausted by all the noise.

News. Politics. Social media. Work. Family. Everybody's opinions.

So I started talking—and somewhere between feelings vs. facts, politics, accountability, faith, and admitting where I was wrong, I realized something:

Maybe I can't fix all this shit. But I can control what I do next.

Then I pulled up to our Blessing Fridge and saw people I know by name waiting for food.

    That's society too.

This one is raw, unfiltered, uncomfortable at times—and probably something a lot of us are feeling.

You can be drowning and still know how to swim.

  • The Price We Pay: Gas Prices, Homelessness Fraud & the Lindsay Clancy Case
    Oct 19 2026

Who’s responsible—and what do we owe each other?

This episode of All About the Biscuits starts somewhere personal: a period when I was working, paying a mortgage, and still sleeping in my Silverado and showering at the gym.

From there, we tackle gas prices, oil companies, refinery capacity, taxes, government regulation—and our own personal choices. I also correct a couple of things I’ve gotten wrong about American refineries and the oil we produce, because accountability starts with getting your own facts straight.

Then we get personal about homelessness: an older couple living in their Chevy Trailblazer, food dignity, my own experience sleeping in my truck, and why helping somebody requires understanding what they actually need.

We also dig into the Los Angeles homelessness fraud allegations and a South Carolina corruption case involving nonprofit grant money. Where did the money go? Who was checking? And what should real transparency look like when organizations are spending taxpayer dollars?

Then we turn to the difficult Lindsay Clancy case—the Massachusetts criminal-responsibility standard, competing expert testimony, evidence presented at trial, the mistrial, the holdout juror, and the difference between acknowledging serious mental illness and deciding criminal responsibility under the law.

Finally, we end with a very different story: Officer Roger Gemoules and Ka’Shawn Baldwin, and a traffic stop where an officer had the opportunity to punish someone—but chose to help him get to a job interview instead.

These stories may seem completely unrelated.

    They aren’t.

Accountability without compassion can become another way to kick people who are already down. Compassion without accountability can mean the help never reaches the people who need it.

    That’s The Price We Pay.

Think I’m wrong? Good. Tell me where the reasoning breaks.

We all matter—so go out, be kind, and put a smile on someone’s face today.
