Welcome back to Confidence Chronicles, a series within Actually, Same where we’re exploring what it means to build confidence by learning to trust yourself again.
In Episode 1, we started with self-awareness and getting to know yourself a little better. This time, we’re talking about what happens when you actually start letting that person be seen, imperfections and all.
We’ll talk about the inner critic (mine has a name, because apparently she needed one), the fear of being judged or misunderstood, and why being yourself can sometimes feel a whole lot more vulnerable than it sounds.
Because embracing who you are doesn’t mean suddenly loving every part of yourself or never caring what anyone thinks. It’s learning to recognize the voice telling you to shrink, second-guess yourself, or change who you are, and deciding it doesn’t always get to be in charge.
So whether you’re confident one minute and questioning everything the next... actually, same.
Here’s to showing up as yourself anyway.
